Feedback Unit 3
Early Adolescent's Interplay between mind and body feedback-
Brittany and Hope-
I would like to begin by expressing that I think the page is
well organized, with clear headings and follows an easy- to- read format. However, I think that the title of the page
should include “Early Adolescent Females” to make it clear as to what population
the entire web page will be addressing. The bullet points offered under risk
factors I think should have been carried through to the preventative factors
for aesthetics and flow. I did not notice any predominant grammatical or
spelling errors throughout the page, and the writing style was clear and
logical. I liked the information offered regarding the high demand for
nutrition and fitness during this stage of development due to all the body
changes occurring. I think it would have been interesting if you offered a comparison
of dietary and fitness demands for males, and how the differences may impact
societal views on the male and female bodies. The athlete triad is also a great
piece of information since many parents may overlook their child’s eating
habits due to thoughts that they are “healthy” and active athletes. More
information could have been added to expand the parents or healthcare providers
understanding of the interplay between the mind and body, and how mental health
can directly impact physical health. Additional information on how to
encourage/promote mental and physical health at this stage would have also been
helpful. Overall, great work!
