Feedback Unit 6
Are the three basic elements for Unit
6 (types of technology for women's health, advantages of using technology for
women's health, disadvantages of using technology for women's health) of the
website section adequate? If not, what is missing?
In the group Early Adolescence the
webpage for technology and health does incorporate the three basic elements
more than adequately.
Did the writers use headings and
subheadings well to clarify the sections of the text?
The writers did a good job of their
use of headers and subheadings to clearly identify the sections of the
webpage. Their use of subheadings and
headings makes it easy for the reader to scroll from one section to the next or
to easily pick one section they want to read.
Were the basic elements organized in a
way that is logical, clear, and easy for the reader to follow?
The way that the page is laid out is
very clear and easy to follow making it logical. The description of the two apps first and
then the advantages and disadvantages of using technology make it easy for the
reader to follow along.
Were there any grammatical or spelling
problems?
There was really only one part where
there was some miswording it seemed like to myself. The sentence that I am referring to is the
last sentence of the 2nd paragraph and I think a very easy switch
that will make the sentence read smoother would be to put the word “which”
instead of ‘with” after self-confidence.
Was the writing style clear? Were the
paragraphs and sentences cohesive?
Did the writers adequately summarize
and discuss the topic through writing, images, and/or videos?
The writers of this webpage did a good
job of making the webpage easy to read and follow along. The paragraphs were just long enough to
provide detailed information but cohesive enough to not lose a reader in the
amount of information given. I thought
that the writers did a very nice job of presenting their apps and how it would
be beneficial to females in early adolescence. I also thought the writers did a
nice job with their video choices and images to help provide more insight to
the page.
Is the information useful for
healthcare providers?
I believe that the information
provided would be helpful for healthcare providers that work with females in
early adolescence. I think the writers
did a great job of choosing the Nike Training Club app as this is one many
different providers could use with a young female to help her.
